Avi Shalom

Avi Shalom focuses on Technology Strategy, IT Architecture, Development Methodologies, Information Management, Business Intelligence, Big Data and Communication, and share his view with the executive boards on Business and IT issues.

Till 2013 Avi managed the local Gartner Consulting and the Executive program in the East Mediterranean Region, where IT executives benefited from the convenience of a single source of IT knowledge. As an IT strategy senior consultant he worked at Gartner offices in Europe, the US, and the Eastern Mediterranean region for clients from a wide range of industries, including Government, Financial Services, Retail, Telecom, and Manufacturing.

Avi has international experience and strong communication skills when working with organizations in different industries, locations, and cultures.

Till 2001 Avi held the CIO position at Strauss-Elite, Tel-Aviv, Israel, following over twelve years at American Express, USA, where he held several executive Information Technology positions.

Pini Cohen

Pini has more than 20 years of experience in the IT market, and over 12 years at STKI (former META Group Israel)

He covers high level and tactical issues in various areas in the IT infrastructure areas:

Information Technology Architecture and Strategies.
Software Infrastructures Strategies on Structered DBMSs, Non Structured DBMSs, Big-Data, In-Memory, Middleware, SOA tools, ETL & Enterprise System Management.
New technologies: Grid computing, Cloud computing.
Software Development Strategies: tools, technologies processes and ,Hardware infrastructures Strategies - Storage, DRP, Server Platforms HW and OS (MF, Unix, Windows, Linux), Desktop clients and SBC.

Before joining STKI, Pini served in the Israeli Air Force (IT Procurement) and later was part of the faculty of the Academic College of Management, Tel-Aviv University and Touro College. He is also the author of 'Java 2 for Developers' (1999 : Hod Ami).

Pini holds degrees in Computer Science from the Technion and MBA from Tel-Aviv University; both with honors
