Software-Together Forums for the Israeli High-Tech industry

The Software-Together brand name, Software-Together Forums and unique collaborative activities has been introduced to the Israeli software industry early in November 7th, 2005. At that time, Amos Maggor, co-founder Software-Together, led and chair Software 06, the 1st Israeli Business Summit of the Israeli Software Industry, with 1,500 participants attended, 59% of them were CEOs, Chairmen and VPs. Presenters included Ministers, Ambassadors, 35 CEOs, etc. The slogen of the event was "From individualism to shared growth".

The 2nd Israeli Business Software Summit, Software 07, took place on March 28th, 2007. That summit, which has been led and moderated by Amos Maggor, was bigger than Software 06 with about 200% the number of lectures. It had two plenums and 9 parallel sessions with 60 key speakers and about 1,600 participants. The slogen of the event was "Individuals and sharing growth".

Since then these Summits for the Israeli Software Industry has been yearly organized by IAESI and People and Computers, the two original Software-Together's partners for the two first summits.

Israeli former Israeli Prime Minister, Ehud Olmert, sits in the middle, 5^th from the lest, of the front raw of Software 06 plenum, waiting for his lecture on Israeli Government investments in visionary High-Tech technologies. The 1^st from the left of the front raw is Dr. Yossi Vardi, a well knows Internet leader and startups investor, the 3^rd from the left is Eli Opper, Chief Scientist of the Israeli Ministry of Industry, Israeli Government, and the 6^th from the left is Prof. Gerald Estrin, the historic mega project leader of WEIZAC, the Israeli 1^st computer (the 2^nd computer in the World). WEIZAC included 3,000 vacuum tubes, went online in 1955 and after 46,000 hours of service was retired in 1963. Prof Estrin came especially to this event in order to receive an honorable reward. The 4th from the right is Dan Margalit, Co-Founder and CTO, Aladdin. The 3rd from the right is Orna Berry, Corporate Vice President and the General Manager of the EMC Center of Excellence in Israel and former Chief Scientist of the Israeli Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labour. The 2nd from the right is Avi Barir, Sr. VP and President HASP Division, Aladdin, and the 1st from the right id David Thomas, General Manager of Software Division, SIIA, USA.
